How to Ship
A few simple steps will ensure your equipment arrives safely at APS:
- Complete the APS Equipment Repair Form or include the same information on a standard sized sheet of paper. Please remove batteries and memory cards from equipment. Please do not send camera accessories. If sending body and lens, it is best to separate for shipping. Install body cap and lens caps if available. Place equipment in plastic bags to protect from dust and moisture. Pack equipment along with APS Equipment Repair Form in a sturdy shipping box allowing for a least a few inches of padding between equipment and all sides of the box, and that items inside box do not touch each other during shipping. Use enough packing material so that items inside box will remain suspended and held in place during shipping.
- Be sure the APS shipping address is correct and clearly marked on the package shipping label. UPS, FedEx and the USPS deliver daily to APS. We recommend obtaining a shipping tracking number from the shipper and insure appropriately. APS will automatically sign for all packages delivered by UPS and FedEx during regular business hours.
- Your equipment will be unpacked and logged into APS in 1-2 day(s) it is received.
